The Information Security Engineer is responsible for implementing and managing a comprehensive security program to protect our organization’s data and systems from cyber threats.   They will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the security of our infrastructure, applications, and data.  - Identify and define system security requirements. - Design computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs. - Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols. - Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure tools & devices. - Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. - Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure that security controls are implemented throughout our infrastructure, applications, and data. - Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends and make recommendations to improve our security posture accordingly. - Provide guidance and support to other members of the IT team on security best practices. - Provide “Person in Charge” (PIC) coverage when on rotation. This added responsibility is factored into your base salary.
