The successful Manager, Information Security and GRC Metrics will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall metrics strategy, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Operational work within the GRC function may be required on occasion to better learn some of the operational components of the team and/or to assist on more complex projects.   - Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and execution of our metrics initiatives, aligning them with organizational objectives and industry best practices. - Design and establish comprehensive metrics frameworks to quantitatively assess the performance and impact of controls and risks across the organization. - Collaborate with senior leadership, executive management, and key stakeholders to understand their information needs, communicate the value of metrics, and ensure alignment with business priorities. - Leverage data analytics techniques to collect, analyze, and derive actionable insights from our metrics to further enable informed decision-making and risk mitigation strategies. - Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on metrics, presenting findings in a clear, concise manner to diverse audiences, including board members, organizational leadership, and operational teams. - Continuously evaluate and refine the metrics framework based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging threats, driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging trends. - Lead the overall metrics program and work across the organization to demonstrate the value of metrics and influence team members to contribute and participate in data collection efforts. Development a communication strategy around the benefits and opportunities for a strong metrics program. - Assist and contribute to GRC projects and tasks - including but not limited to compliance assessments, risk assessments, and issues management.

Berkley Select is seeking an Underwriting Manager. This position is part of the Management Liability underwriting segment for Berkley Select and supports the achievement of established departmental goals related to profitability, growth, and producer relations.  The position requires developing policy forms, endorsements, risk appetite, underwriting guidelines and driving overall strategy for the Commercial Crime insurance product. The position also requires developing and maintaining brokerage relationships and underwriting individual risks in accordance with guidelines and philosophy for Commercial Crime insurance.   Key Functions will include but not be limited to:   Broker Management - Manage key and/or target broker relationships and expectations. - Communicate underwriting decisions, requirements, and philosophies to brokerage community. - Maintain producer / agency contact log in electronic databases. Underwriting Duties - Develop policy forms, endorsements, risk appetite, underwriting guidelines and drive overall strategy for the Commercial Crime insurance product. - Provide final approval and guidance on risk analysis presented by members of the underwriting department in accordance with authority levels. - Evaluate risk characteristics of submissions to determine business opportunities in accordance with guidelines and company philosophy. - Price, design and recommend policy format for quoted submissions. - Review underwriting documents for accuracy prior to their release to brokers and/or company clients. - Discuss, analyze and interpret Berkley Select policy forms and coverage issues.  Product Development - Propose and/or develop policy forms and endorsements to improve Berkley Select’s competitive advantage in the market. - Provide research assistance in analyzing competitor forms. - Discuss, analyze and interpret changes to competitor forms and underwriting appetites. Leadership Duties - Responsible for the profitable growth of the Commercial Crime insurance product. - Assist in training underwriting team members to achieve efficient and effective underwriting (based on risk and form analysis congruent with risk appetite and underwriting guidelines). Other Duties - Special projects as assigned.
