Responsible for performing accounting duties for Verus premium accounts receivable and claims deductible which include, but are not limited to:
- Billing administration and management
- Collections tracking and organization
- Reconciliation and account review
- Also provides administrative support at an entry level.
- Balance daily and month end accounts receivable.
- Under direction, investigate outstanding invoices
- Make collection efforts via calls or emails.
Conduct/coordinate audits of policyholder operations and business records to determine the proper classifications and exposures to be used in determining the policy’s final earned premium. Work closely with underwriting, brokers and others to complete premium audits correctly and in a timely manner. Position will also be responsible for ensuring audit aligns with policy language and will book audits within the Vela Underwriting System.
