The Claims Superintendent - Excess Casualty will be responsible for managing a caseload of Excess claims in multiple states. They will be responsible for determining and discharging the company's contractual obligations under its various policy contracts, for either Admiral’s supported or unsupported Excess book of business. The Claims Superintendent, General Liability will have primary responsibility for the handling and oversight of high-exposure General Liability claims for an Excess and Surplus Lines carrier. This role will manage complex pending matters across a broad range of exposures, including Products Liability, Habitational Risks, Contractors (including, but not limited to, New York Labor Law), Liquor Liability and Large Property Damage Fire/Water Intrusion claims. The position requires close collaboration with defense counsel, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective claim outcomes, adherence to policy terms, and alignment with best practices for high-severity loss management.
