POSITION SUMMARY: The Professional Liability Underwriting Intern will work in a hybrid (some days in office, some days virtual – TBD) environment training with key team members to learn and participate in the process of underwriting and servicing of renewal accounts for the development and retention of Admiral business. The duration of the internship is approximately eight weeks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This temporary based position requires strong analysis skills applied in learning the evaluation and pricing of Admiral renewal business in accordance with service standards, objectives, and following Admiral underwriting guidelines.
This internship is an in-person, in-ofifce role in the Seattle, Washington office location.

The Finance Intern acquires and analyzes data along with assisting members of the Business Analysis team with various ongoing projects. Communicates with Finance team and managers. Participates in decision-making process by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Performs basic financial and business analysis functions.
- Provides support to all functions within Finance.
- Learns/Observes the business interaction with other Departments.
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
- Becomes proficient in working with large data files using the appropriate software.
