The Claims Attorney is a licensed attorney who provides expert legal support and advice on how to mitigate the liability and future exposure of MECC and its insureds on workers’ compensation and employers’ liability claims. The Claims Attorney serves as an expert resource for the Claims Department and Regional Teams and provides guidance on claim issues such as settlement, Medicare compliance, insurance coverage, litigation strategy, third-party recovery and employers liability.
