The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner, working closely with the HR Leadership to execute the organization’s talent strategy and advance key HR initiatives across supported operating units. This role collaborates with leaders, employees, and HR partners to deliver expert guidance on all talent‑related activities, including recruitment and selection, employee retention, performance management, talent development, compensation planning, and employee relations. Through proactive consultation and strong business partnership, the HR Manager helps build organizational capability, strengthen engagement, and ensure consistent, effective HR practices.
Responsible for managing a caseload consisting of incoming and more complex workers’ compensation cases including extended disability cases, litigation, employer’s liability claims, and assigned claims. Responsible for all technical aspects of claim management for assigned files including compliance with all established performance guidelines.
- Investigate claims and make appropriate decisions regarding claim compensability and general claims management for assigned files.

This position will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and adjustment of claims for a dedicated program handling municipal property claims in the State of Wisconsin. The position will help with the underwriting of new potential insureds on an ad hoc basis which may require the use of a drone.
- Interview insureds, witnesses, and others as appropriate.
- Inspect property damage.

To adjust claims as assigned, to perform all claim duties associated with the investigation, evaluation and resolution of all claims assigned.
- Manages all aspects of investigation, evaluation and resolution of severity 1 and limited severity 2 property/casualty claims as categorized by internal severity indicators.
- Understands and can apply coverage for the claims assigned. Issues appropriate RORs and disclaimers.

Provides loss control consultative services for our clients in an assigned geographical work area.
- Provides consultative loss control service to clients that will assist in developing an effective loss control program.
- Analyzes losses, generates/submits comprehensive loss control recommendations to assist in correcting deficiencies and controlling losses and related costs.

Assist in the processing of workers’ compensation claims by performing technical and clerical duties as directed by the examiners. Act as assistant to an assigned claims team. Work within a team environment to meet time sensitive filing requirements as well as maintain a current workload.
