As a member of our software development team, you'll support development of applications that are revolutionizing underwriting and claims.


As an Associate Software Development Engineer, you will be part of a fast-moving and cross-functional software engineering team that has a business-first approach to technical problem-solving. As a member of this team, you would have the opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the insurance business through technology.


  • Demonstrates the capability to resolve routine problems within a system or process.
  • Can modify existing functionality or provide minor improvements with limited direction.
  • Demonstrates solid development processes including code review, documentation, and unit testing.
  • Work independently on multiple projects while meeting the timely needs of the customer.
  • May provide rotating on-call support of production systems.
  • Travel for this position is approximately 5-10%.


  • 0 – 4 yrs. standard coder.
  • Must have demonstrated the capability of meeting the key accountabilities, or have the ability to learn/perform them.
  • Software Development Life Cycle experience.
  • Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact seamlessly at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systems.
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
