Develops regional and local Business Strategic, Tactical and Operational plans. Executes Action Plans leading to the accomplishment of Company goals. Develops deep agency relationships and represents the Company locally, regionally and on a national basis. Partners with Sr. Management of the Company and Regional Companies as required to drive both growth and profitability. Participate in the development of Marine and Property strategic and tactical plans based on company plans, technological advances, and corporate plans. Will work within limits of authority requiring the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination. Focus will be on complex property, marine risks and programs that will drive profitable growth.
• Examine and evaluate technical instructions and data written, oral, mathematical, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Present alternative actions, and deal with abstract variables.
• Ability to apply algebra to compute fractions, percentages, ratios, units of measure, compute discount, interest and selling price. Calculate surfaces, weights and measures, and variables.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets reports and financial reports. Write reports, policies, procedures and other documentation.
• Communicate clearly when conducting training.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
• Significant field leadership experience with a proven track record of profitable growth in the inland marine and property lines of business.
• Possess both strong technical underwriting, sales and negotiation skills.

Education Requirement
• 7-10 years inland marine insurance underwriting experience.
• College degree or equivalent job related experience.
• Must be able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
