Responsibilities

Directs and oversees the Nautilus PMO to ensure IT programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects and programs. Manages planning and execution of Segment Level projects. Has deep knowledge and experience with digital technology. Assists in development of digital strategy and tactical efforts.

 

  • Manage and balance the workload and assignments for Project Managers.
  • Regularly track progress on all project plans and provide updates to executives.
  • Responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting project objectives.
  • Oversees project schedules, utilize project management tools (reports, tracking, etc.).
  • Oversees project scope and deliverables through a structure and change management process to ensure customers’ expectations are met while protecting expense objectives.
  • Ensure development of all Project Managers and staff including appropriate certifications and training as part of a comprehensive development path.
  • Responsible for management of the COE.
  • Responsible for managing external vendors associated with projects.

Qualifications

  • Lead team of performance/process professionals; develop, mentor, and oversee work efforts aimed at achievement of the above responsibilities.
  • Exceptional planning, project management, facilitation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to drive multiple concurrent projects to completion in a complex, deadline-driven environment.
  • Expert facilitation skills and high level of comfort facilitating senior level discussions.
  • Ability to build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members.
  • Applicable knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and metrics.
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and aptitude to learn new applications, as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of program management experience.
  • E&S Experience a plus.
