The Internship program provides highly motivated and qualified students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and heighten business knowledge. Students will collaborate side by side with BTS employees in a variety of positions to complete challenging projects.  Students will interact with all levels of management and senior leaders, and gain insight into business and technology in the insurance industry.

Key Accountabilities:

• Demonstrates understanding of data processes and/or structures.
• Demonstrates the capability to resolve routine data problems within a system or process.
• Will be required to communicate and coordinate within the team.
• SQL Server experience (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Experience using a variety of data formats to access, import, extract, transform, and transfer or load data a plus.
• Provide weekly project status reports as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Participation in extracurricular and leadership activities.
• Registered undergraduate student pursuing a major in a business-related degree with a preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Completion of sophomore or junior year preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
