This position will report directly to our Director of IT and will be responsible for driving all aspects of quality improvements by creating/executing manual/automated test plans based on user stories to ensure high-quality delivery.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will provide the design and implementation of the testing (strategy, plan, scenarios, and scripts) for applications using industry accepted testing methodologies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement manual and automated test plans and cases.
• Create end-to-end test plans by analyzing user stories and develop test cases to execute manual and automated test scripts on multiple projects.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand user stories and create detailed use cases, test cases, test plans and analyze results to improve future testing iterations.
• Assist SCRUM team members in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans.
• Validate user requirements to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Utilize subject matter expertise to seek out software, configuration and documentation defects not previously anticipated or captured in formal test plans.
• Manage, take ownership of and be accountable for test case development and execution.
• Collaborate on problem resolution and testing processes.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Performa other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of relevant experience or college degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to automation solutions and/or test tooling).
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Clear and accurate written and verbal communication is a must.
• Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages (C#/Java/JavaScript/Python) to develop automated test cases for web/browser-based applications.
• SQL experience to assist with data validation.
• Proven experience with Cypress.io, Ranorex, Selenium or equivalent is a plus.
