Berkley Asset Protection, a Berkley company, is hiring for the position of Client Experience Associate to service its Lavalier Personal Jewelry Clients.  The position is based in the Appleton, Wisconsin office, responsible for providing customer service and support and reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering customer phone calls and return messages from our policyholders and perspective customers
  • Responding to customer emails and requests for information
  • Processing endorsements and change requests for clients
  • Interacting with vendors and partners who work with Lavalier
  • Assisting with processing policies and obtaining policyholder information
  • Completing data entry and/or uploading of large schedules and other data
  • Projects and other work as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • P&C insurance experience, company or agency, preferred
  • Customer Service experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with technology resources required
  • Incredible empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers.  You will be an excellent, pro-active advocate for Lavalier customers and are passionate about their service experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Your communication style is flexible to the situation. You communicate clearly and with a purpose
  • Calm under pressure. You have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks. You are comfortable challenging norms while working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • You have a strong sense of accountability
  • Natural curiosity. You love learning how things work and you are always looking for innovative improvements
  • A passion to provide outstanding account support. You love to pull out all the stops to support your team in order to provide exceptional customer service
