    A Business Analyst is responsible for the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Claims Department in support of the strategic goals of the organization.  This will be accomplished by driving data analysis,  efficiency and quality of work products and processes in order to meet the goals of the claims department and claims services. Works under the supervision of a direct manager and other claims management. This position will work at time with IT and/or finance insuring data and information is gathered correctly for reporting and evaluation.



    • Conducts basic data analysis and reporting


    • Revise and create Pivot Reports in claim operating system


    • Assist with IT revision requests for systems and trending reports


    • Prepare and analyze various claim data on a quarterly and yearly basis


    • Assist in various projects with claim support and deductible collection


    • Project management


    • Bordereau reporting




    Critical Skills/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree involving data analytics for insurance, business or equivalent work experience in a related position.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose various types of business correspondence.
    • Strong skills in project management, managing multiple priorities, analysis and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
    • Expertise in power b.i, including high expertise level with pivot tables
    • Excel with high level of proficiency.
    • 1- 5 years insurance data analysis experience preferably in professional lines.
