The Assistant Underwriter will own and manage administrative and support details necessary to ensure the accurate and timely processing of endorsements, new business, and renewals. Contribute to company profit objectives by making decisions regarding new business / renewal acceptability and changes to policies according to assigned authority. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience as a commercial lines technician preferred.
Show aptitude to train others and perform template-underwriting functions.
Underwriting judgement experience needed.
