    • Research learn and apply worker's compensation statutes
    • Investigate claims as reported and determine eligibility for benefits and administer benefits as warranted
    • Address client issues and respond to inquiries promptly
    • Manage the progression of the claims process through collaboration with physicians, nurses, attorneys and other parties as needed
    • Analyze and process claims with the ability to have ownership of policy and claim transactions
    • Translate data and understand department processes, functionality and requirements
    • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
    • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned



    • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Ability to maintain a current adjuster license
    • Possess strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to understand department processes, functionality and requirements
    • Must be customer focused, have a great phone presence, courteous and exercise good judgment
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Great organization and time management skills with the ability to handle and adhere to team schedule


    • Degree or course work in business law and/or risk management
    • Experience in insurance industry or claims management
    • Exposure to vendor management
