As Vice President, Small Commercial, you will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for advancing WR Berkkey's small commercial strategy across multiple regional companies. You'll drive the development, integration, and adoption of digital platforms, underwriting tools, and product capabilities that enable a modern, consistent, and scalable agent and customer experience. The VP also provides deep technical and underwriting expertise while collaborating with cross‑functional partners, including underwriting, technology, operations, actuarial, data science, and regional leadership, to strengthen portfolio performance, expand market opportunities, and promote disciplined, profitable growth. Acting as both strategist and liaison, you'll guide system design, product evolution, automation initiatives, and go‑to‑market execution to ensure alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University.
Strong insurance industry knowledge and underwriting acumen.
10+ years of experience in the small commercial insurance business strategy and eco-system development.
Experience in implementing Guidewire platforms.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by the ability to lead through influence.
A natural curiosity with a passion for learning and seeking innovative improvements.
A proven track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships with insureds, agents & brokers.
