As a Compliance resource, working as an Insurance Policy Analyst - Stop Loss, you’ll partner closely with sales and client relationship teams to prepare, review, and issue policy documents while supporting vendor agreement coordination. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail‑driven environment, enjoys process improvement, and is looking to grow their career in insurance operations.
What you can expect:
We'll count on you to:
Review and issue new business and renewal stop‑loss policies with accuracy and compliance
Prepare all documentation required for contracts, renewals, and schedules
Follow up with producers to gather outstanding information and ensure complete applications
Identify gaps or discrepancies in documentation before policy issuance
Maintain and track reinsurance agreements, including annual commutations
Independently resolve escalated policy issues and recommend solutions
Lead or participate in cross‑functional projects to streamline policy workflows
Support process flow development for new and renewal business
Build strong relationships with internal partners, brokers, clients, and vendors
Mentor team members and contribute to ongoing skills development
Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental goals
What you need to have:
High school diploma required
Experience reviewing contracts or policy documentation
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and accuracy
Proficiency with Windows, Outlook, and communication tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time‑management and organizational abilities
Collaborative mindset with the ability to foster positive working relationships
Ability to lead small projects and influence process improvements
What makes you stand out:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years in insurance operations, underwriting support, or policy administration
Strong understanding of policy issuance and renewal processes
Experience in group insurance, especially medical stop‑loss
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with brokers, clients, and service vendors
