Responsibilities

The International Assistant will support our international team by assisting with quotes, preparing proposals, issuing policies and ensuring we remain compliant with regulations.  This role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality customer service. 

  • Obtain competitive quotes from international insurers according to underwriting guidelines.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for cover holder and Freedom of Services (FOS) policies.
  • Present quotes to underwriters in a clear and organized manner to support policy placement.
  • Enter relevant data into systems promptly for efficient processing.
  • Issue policies and endorsements and perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with international regulations and company policies.
  • Secure binding confirmations and retrieve policies from foreign partners as needed.
  • Coordinate with U.S. and foreign producers along with internal teams to meet service needs for global programs.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners on enhancements to systems and workflows.
  • Address and resolve client and partner inquiries related to billing, premium payments, and account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

 

May perform other functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years Commercial multi-line insurance experience
  • Multinational experience a plus
  • Knowledge of rating practices and interpreting coverage forms a plus
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and partner carriers both in person and telephonically
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of Windows environment

Education 

  • High school diploma or equivalent

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees including:
• Base Salary Range: $40k-$60k

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
