Carolina Casualty seeks creative, curious, innovative and entrepreneurial candidates for its internship and development program. The selected candidate will work hand-in-hand with the company’s senior leaders across a wide range insurance operations, claims and underwriting initiatives.

 

Candidate must work out of the Jacksonville, FL office.

Key Functions will include but not be limited to:

• Assist the department with creating the company’s agency management strategies (onboarding, training and performance optimization)
• Assist with monitoring agency performance metrics (production, retention, compliance)
• Help with implementing tools and programs that enhance agency capabilities, including digital platforms and sales enablement resources
• Assist with any special projects assigned.

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Risk Management and Insurance (or other applicable major) preferred.
• A rising Senior is preferred
• GPA of 3.0 and above required
• Interest in enhancing classroom learning through practical career related work experience within the industry
• Career Interest in Insurance
• Ability to assess priorities and manage deadlines effectively
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills
• Strong research and analytical skill
