This position can either be fully remote (if not within commutable distance to the office) or based in one of our offices:

  • Hamilton Square, NJ
  • Marlborough, MA

Our offices offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business, managing existing broker and client relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally with underwriting and marketing to support revenue growth. Strong pipeline management and ad hoc reporting capabilities are essential to success in this role.  You will create and manage follow ups on opportunities presented from the business to our broker partners, and identify trends and opportunities for continued growth.

We'll count on you to:

  • Execute a comprehensive sale and quote management plan to drive premium growth in corporate accident, participant accident, and intercollegiate sports insurance lines.
  • Manage relationships with retail brokers, third party administrators, and other parties involved in the day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Sales to seek trends in the market and the company’s relation to the competition
  • Partner with underwriting and marketing to create and deliver targeted campaigns, sales collateral, and thought leadership that support business development efforts.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking, timely follow-ups, and reliable forecasting.
  • Generate and analyze ad hoc reports to assess broker performance, monitor deal progress, and inform sales strategy.
  • Educate brokers and clients on product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and client events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Stay current on NCAA compliance, youth sports safety protocols, and emerging risks in the accident & health market.
  • Engage with Vice President of Sales to develop a strong lead generation model to grow and build relationships.

Qualifications

  • BS Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
    3+ years of experience in insurance sales, ideally in accident & health, participant accident, or sports-related coverage.
  • Demonstrated success managing a complex sales process and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage and forecast using CRM systems and produce ad hoc performance reports.
  • Understanding of the participant accident and intercollegiate sports insurance market, including claims and risk mitigation practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for in-person meetings and events.
  • Experience working with schools, universities, youth organizations, or athletic governing bodies.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance issues related to student athletes and recreational activities.
  • Active Property & Casualty or Accident & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and data

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role include:

• Base Salary Range: $100-115k
• Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus.
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
