This role will be based in one of our three offices: 

  • Boston, MA
  • Chicago, IL (Downtown)
  • Morristown, NJ 
  • Wilmington, DE

We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Strategic Partnership Manager to join our Classics team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with key partners in the collector vehicle ecosystem. These partners may include classic car dealers, auction houses, car clubs, banks offering collector car loans, other insurance companies, and other influencers in the space. This is a high-impact role focused on driving profitable lead generation and acquisition, and significantly increasing new business premium through strategic collaboration. The ideal candidate will be equal parts relationship builder, sales strategist, and operational facilitator.

 

We'll count on you for:

 

Partner Acquisition & Relationship Development

  • Identify and engage potential partners aligned with Berkley One Classics’ growth strategy.
  • Listen actively to understand partner pain points, friction areas, and opportunities for value creation.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create solutions that deliver mutual benefit and long-term success.
  • Develop compelling pitches and presentations to onboard new partners

Partnership Enablement & Lifecycle Management

  • Guide partners through the full lifecycle: recruitment, contracting, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, service, marketing, distribution) to ensure seamless execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Design and manage incentive programs and compensation structures to drive performance and engagement.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor partner performance, segment results, and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards to measure success and identify opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to share progress and refine strategies.

Brand Advocacy

  • Position Berkley One Classics as the partner of choice in the collector car space.
  • Ensure our value proposition is clearly communicated and consistently delivered.
  • Represent the brand at partner meetings and industry events.
  • Other work as assigned

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and/or partnership management—preferably in insurance, automotive, or financial services.
  • Strong coordination and execution skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • A mindset for experimentation—comfortable testing new approaches, learning from outcomes, and iterating to improve results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for classic cars or familiarity with the collector vehicle space is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to meet with partners and attend events.

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of five years in managing broker and/or partnership relationships.
  • Flexible and Mobile: Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight trips, and to work flexible hours to support clients across time zones.
  • Tech-Savvy: Demonstrates exceptional proficiency with technology.

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees.

• Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000
• Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus.
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
