The Berkley Aspire internship opportunity provides an immersive experience within the Business Intelligence department with exposure to E&S and the overall insurance industry. Throughout the course of this program, the intern will reside within the Business Intelligence department, developing their knowledge of insurance and underwriting basics while working alongside our highly skilled teams. 

This role is located in Berkley Aspire's West Chester, OH office.  We are seeking local candidates only.

• Shadow business intelligence team and assist with underwriting tasks as assigned.
• Lead and participate in projects that support different department goals and objectives.
• Create, analyze, and interpret data from various systems and resources.
• Maintain confidentiality with discretion and integrity with both internal and external information.
• Project a professional company image through internal and external customer interaction.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in insurance, actuarial or business-related coursework at a 4-year accredited university.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Interest in a career within the insurance industry
• Demonstrate strong writing and research skills
• Demonstrate self-motivation, analytical thinking, relationship building and a solid work ethic.
• Basic Computer knowledge – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
