Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Berkley One team! You wil be a key contributor to the Berkley One brand strategy and development responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events including: agent events, client events, internal events, and community outreach programs. This role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Key functions include but are not limited to:

  • Event Planning and Execution: work with the marketing and distribution teams to plan, schedule, and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details are coordinated seamlessly
  • Vendor Management: identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, venues, and entertainment providers
  • Budget Management: develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within budget constraints
  • Logistics Coordination: oversee all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site setup
  • Marketing and Promotion: collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and print materials
  • Attendee Management: manage event registrations, RSVPs, and attendee communications to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants
  • Post-Event Evaluation: conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Internal Meeting Support: provide support for All Hands Calls and other ad hoc meetings in accordance to President and other Executive expectations
  • Participate in a variety of special marketing projects as required

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of successful event coordination experience, specifically in a high growth, luxury product or service industry
  • Experience contributing on a high performing content and brand development team in a high growth, fast paced environment, you can successfully facilitate group projects and events
  • Incredible empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers, both insureds and their agents alike, you will be an excellent, proactive advocate for Berkley One customers and are passionate about their brand experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, your communication style is flexible to the situation, you communicate clearly and with a purpose
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • A love of process and optimization, you are excited about the opportunity to build the Berkley One brand and tell the Berkley One story through events and community engagement
  • Calm under pressure, you have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks, you work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • You have a strong sense of accountability, fun and adventure
  • Natural curiosity, you love learning how things work, and you are always looking for innovative improvements
  • Advanced proficiency with event management software and on-line registration tools, Microsoft Office suite, Social Media management and data analytics for event performance evaluation

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees including:

• Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
• Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus
• Benefits include: Health, dental, vision, dental, life, disability, wellness, paid time off, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
