• Identify and label documents properly in BPMi
• Accurate and consistent submission clearance, including but not limited to set up of insured names, broker codes, policy dates, coverage types, underwriters and underwriting assistants in BUS
• Ability to assign submissions based upon description of operations
• Pre-evaluate submissions through a series of online searches, including Experian, OSHA, Contractors/Business Licenses, etc. and summarize results.
• Ensure service standards are met daily (minimum expectation of 50 submissions cleared per day when applicable)
• Notify IT immediately when system difficulties occur
• Answer phones professionally
• Assist with routine and special projects as assigned
• Regular and predictable attendance
• All other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Above average communication skills required to interact with Underwriting and Brokers
• Excellent typing / accuracy skills, minimum 50 to 60 WPM
• General insurance knowledge preferred
