Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for learning company policy and procedure in relation to policy administration. This representative provides a high level of customer service and also provides general administrative support to other departments such as premium audit, premium accounting, and underwriting. The Customer Service Representative must exhibit a degree of competency, productivity, timeliness and accuracy, while exercising appropriate judgment and must also be a team player.

 

Key functions include but are not limited to:

  • Handle phone, email and live chat requests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve insured, broker and claimant inquiries with exceptional customer service
  • Process premium audits & payments
  • Create payment histories
  • Assist callers with Company website and banking site login
  • Collaborate with other team members when assistance is needed
  • Complete various related tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Administrative office work experience in the Workers Compensation Insurance Company preferred
  • Previous customer service experience
  • 2+ years office environment work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – Spanish speaker a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office software and PC applications and systems
  • Friendly and enthusiastic

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role include:
• Base Salary Range: $17.30-$28.84/hourly
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
