Responsibilities

As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Co-Op with Berkley Technology Services (BTS) Information Security team, you will get an opportunity to work hands on with IAM team and gain hands-on experience learning technologies that will translate well into a career within Information Security. Joining us in this role will get you exposure to entitlements, roles and groups that make it possible for workers to perform their daily business activities. You will also understand how IAM helps to provide a knowledge base for how Information Security impacts an organization internally and externally. By taking a role like this, you’ll not only have opportunities to partner with Information Security teams teams across our technology organization, but you’ll also build a foundation that you’ll carry throughout your career.  Key Functions will include but not be limited to:

  • Administer/Assist in the quarterly/monthly Sailpoint user access reviews
  • Assist with compiling user access review results
  • Complete user access review revoke requests
  • Post access review results for each operating units’ Teams channel
  • Compose/manage email communications for reviews completed outside of Sailpoint
  • Review IAM ServiceNow tasks and close out
  • Assist with IAM metrics analysis and report creation
  • Work with InfoSec teams as well as the business and application teams
  • IAM Centralization and Automation project

Qualifications

  • Registered undergraduate student pursuing a major in an IT-related degree with a preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong passion for technology and cybersecurity
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking and quantitative skills with ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • SQL and Powershell familiarity preferred, but not required
  • Prior internship, co-op, or on or off-campus technical experience preferred, but not required
