Responsibilities

Berkley Luxury Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant.  This role is located in our NJ office - currently in Rutherford, NJ and moving to Parsippany, NJ during the spring of 2025. 

 

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support work focused on supporting and maintaining day to day office operations.

  • Manages front desk and oversees entrance of visitors, vendors and employees into the OU office suite
  • Manages and maintains office supply inventory.
  • Acts as primary liaison with building/facility management to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s buildings and facilities in compliance with OU lease agreement and that all building related issues are reported and resolved. Manages building security system access
  • Ensures that proper inspections of office equipment (i.e. fire extinguishers, AED Machine) are scheduled and completed in a timely manner
  • Plans and coordinates logistical details(booking conference rooms, ordering lunch) for OU departmental meetings/lunches at the direction of Departmental Senior Leadership

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 Years of Administrative Support Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
  • Superior skills in relationship building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and to independently prioritize competing demands/requests within given time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and effectively make sound business decisions.
  • In office 5 days a week
