Assist Actuarial team by performing premium and loss reserving calculations, research, and other actuarial analyses.  Provide data/analytic expertise to support actuarial services including financial reporting, trend analysis, utilization studies, rate development and claims liability estimates.

Key functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Contribute to the design, construction, and implementation of tools and processes for assessing rate adequacy
• Assist in the assessment of rate level adequacy for the Company’s various lines of business
• Develop data sets for analytics and reporting.  Participate in predictive modeling efforts and recommend enhancements for analysis and company processes
• Support the Company’s rating plans, rates, factors, and pricing tools, including providing actuarial support for state filings
• Contribute to production and improvement of reports for Corporate and internal customers
• Assist with loss/loss adjustment expense reserve analysis on a quarterly basis
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math/statistics, Economics, finance or other related disciplines
• 2+ Casualty Actuarial Exams completed and a commitment to completing CAS exam process
